Center Telecom boost 2009 dividends 96%Interfax
The shareholders of CenterTelecom (RTS: ESMO) at an annual general shareholders meeting on Friday passed a resolution to pay out 2009 dividends equal to RUR 0.4808448 per common and RUR 0.9617069 per preferred share, a correspondent of Interfax wired from the meeting.
The total amount of payouts on common shares amounts to RUR 758.766 mln and RUR 505.851 on preferred shares.
In 2008, CenterTelecom disbursed RUR 0.2457683 per common share and RUR 0.4915455 per preferred share. As a result, this year payments on common and preferred shares went up by 96%.
CenterTelecom’s 2009 RAS net profit also increased by 96%, amounting to RUR 5.059 bln.
The charter capital of CenterTelecom amounts to RUR 6,311,988,965, while 1,578,006,833 common shares and 525,992,822 preferred shares were issued with a par value of RUR 3.
CenterTelecom ‘s main shareholder is Svyazinvest (50.69% of common shares, 38.02% of charter capital).
