Evgeny Yurchenko: managing company to be set up to look after Rostelecom’s cellular assets; all cellular operators to sign contract with this companyFinam
To date, the mobile assets controlled by Svyazinvest are disparate, the company has insufficient coverage, and the holding is unable to provide large-scale cellular services throughout the country, the general director of Svyazinvest Evgeny Yurchenko said in an interview with the company’s corporate publication. “This is why we need to consolidate our mobile assets as quickly as possible”, he said.
Mr. Yurchenko went on to say that a managing company will be set up to manage the company’s mobile assets, and that all cellular companies should enter into agreements with this company. “All processes are moving along in the same direction. A great amount of work has been done over the past year and a half to analyze billing systems and examine the possibility of phasing in ERP systems, evaluating the accounting policy, debiting the company’s subscribers, monitoring the equipment stock which is in place on our networks”, Evgeny Yurchenko went on to say.
