NCC raises charter capital by 14% after merger with Ulyanovsk-GSM

Nizhny Novgorod Cellular Communication (NCC), a wholly-owned subsidiary of VolgaTelecom (RTS: NNSI) has raised its charter capital by 13.9% to RUR 39,956,855.796. 

As reported on the website of the regional division of Federal Financial Market Service in the Volga Federal District, the agency registered its report on the placement of NCC’s additional issue valued at RUR 4,860,342.474. 

NCC placed 22,471,000 additional shares with par value of RUR 216,294 by their conversion upon the merger with Ulyanovsk-GSM.

As reported earlier, the procedure for folding Ulyanovsk-GSM into Nizhny Novgorod Cellular Communication was completed at the end of last year, and the relevant entry was made in the Unified State Register for Legal Entities on December 1, 2009. 

Prior to the additional share issue, the charter capital of NCC amounted to RUR 35,096,513.322, and is split into common shares with par value of RUR 216.294.

NCC was founded in 1995 and is a provider of GSM-900/1800 cellular services.

VolgaTelecom is controlled by Svyazinvest holding and is one of its seven regional telecommunications operators.  Svyazinvest owns 51% of the company’s voting shares (38% of its charter capital).
