Sibirtelecom received confirmation on January 11, 2010 that the Federal Tax Service had made an entry in the Unified State Register of Legal Entities (USRLE) on the liquidation of its 100% subsidiary company Altel.
Altel was wound up on December 31, 2009 on the basis of a resolution passed by its sole shareholder – Sibirtelecom.
Altel was liquidated as part of the restructuring of the subsidiary business of Sibirtelecom. Altel’s subsidiaries were earlier switched to service at the Altay branch of Sibirtelecom.
For reference: Altels’s main activity was the provision of local voice telephony in the city of Barnaul of the Altay territory.
