Nizhny Novgorod, November, 2009. VolgaTelecom hereby announces the results of a public tender held to select the lending institution to conclude an agreement on providing a non-revolving credit line.

The tender was announced on October 12, 2009 and was held in six lots.  All in all, seven banks applied to take part in the tender: UniCredit Bank, Sarovniznesbank, Moscow Industrial Bank, VTB, Metallurgical Investment Bank, Sberbank of the Russian Federation and Svyaz-Bank.

By decision of the tender committee, Sberbank of the Russian Federation was declared the winner of all six lots.

According to the terms of the tender, Sberbank of the Russian Federation is to extend four 3-year RUR 3 bln credit lines, and two 5-year RUR 3 bln credit lines to VolgaTelecom.
