Moscow, October 22, 2009. CenterTelecom was ranked 28th in the final rating for information transparency of Russian companies in 2009, which was held by international rating agency Standard & Poor's.
The study of information transparency is an analytical project commissioned by Standard & Poor's and the Center for Economic and Financial Research developed on the basis of information from the Russian School of Economics. In the rating on public sources of information were used: annual financial statements, websites, and reports submitted to regulatory authorities. The rating covers Russia’s 90 largest companies.
Based on the results of ownership structure and shareholder rights, financial and current information, the composition and procedures of operations by the board of directors and its managers, CenterTelecom ranked 28th with an information transparency rate of 66%.
