Moscow, August 6, 2009. CenterTelecom has paid out dividends on certified non-document class-A preferred shares for the results of 2008 in the amount of Rub 0. 4915455per share.
All in all, Rub 258,549,406.89 was disbursed in dividends for preferred shares for 2008 business results in line with decision adopted by the annual general shareholders meeting. The total amount of payments stood at Rub 238,596,386.8 mln, or 92.28% of the dividends accrued on the preferred shares of CenterTelecom.
To date, Rub 19,953,020.09 is the amount which remains unpaid due to reasons for which the company is not responsible, in accordance with Article 44 of the Federal Law “On Joint Stock Companies” and approved by the Statute on Dividend Policy of CenterTelecom, i.e.:
- the failure of shareholders to appear to receive dividends;
- successors failed to document the right of ownership to shares in accordance with the established procedure;
- the application form of the shareholder fails to provide or incorrectly contains information on how the dividends are to be paid out.
